Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Game Lab ("the Service", "the Platform"), operated by AI Game Lab ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

AI Game Lab is a platform that allows users to create games using artificial intelligence, publish them for others to play, and discover games created by the community. The platform consists of a mobile application (iOS & Android) and a companion website at gamelabai.app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service. We may terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are operated by underage users.

4. User Accounts

To create and publish games, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. User-Generated Content

"User Content" means any game, text, image, asset, or other material you create, upload, or publish through the Service.

  • Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to your User Content.
  • License to us: By publishing User Content, you grant AI Game Lab a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform and in marketing materials.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all User Content you create and publish. AI Game Lab does not review, approve, or endorse User Content before publication.

6. Content Guidelines & Prohibited Content

You agree not to create, publish, or distribute content that:

  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate for minors (NSFW)
  • Promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism, self-harm, or drug abuse
  • Contains hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or threats against individuals or groups
  • Constitutes or encourages illegal activity under applicable law
  • Infringes on any third-party intellectual property, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents
  • Contains malicious code, scripts designed to harm devices, or phishing attempts
  • Impersonates another person or entity, or is deceptive or misleading
  • Is spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial content not authorized by us

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

AI Game Lab respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same.

  • Your responsibility: You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you publish, including any images, music, text, or other assets. You must not use copyrighted material from third parties without proper authorization.
  • AI-generated content: Games are created with the assistance of AI models. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output to ensure it does not infringe on third-party rights. AI-generated content may inadvertently resemble existing works — you accept this risk and agree to promptly remove any content upon valid complaint.
  • DMCA / takedown requests: If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on the Platform, please contact us at legal@aigamelab.app with a description of the work, the location on our Platform, and your contact details. We will promptly investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  • AI Game Lab does not review User Content prior to publication and is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any User Content.
  • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from User Content, including but not limited to copyright infringement, defamation, or illegal material.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Game Lab, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims or damages arising from your User Content or your violation of these Terms.

9. Credits & Purchases

The Service uses a credit-based system for AI game generation. Credits may be purchased through in-app purchases. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the policies of the respective app store (Apple App Store, Google Play).

10. Reporting & Enforcement

Users can report content that violates these Terms using the in-app reporting feature. We investigate reports and may take action including content removal, account warnings, or account termination. We may also cooperate with law enforcement where required.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Published games may be removed from the Platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
